MMMmmm...breadcake

One day Allie was reaching for something on the counter and kept saying, "Breadcake, Mommy, breadcake!" Breadcake? What the heck is that? I finally figured out that she wanted a piece of banana bread. How cute! She calls banana bread "breadcake". Or so I thought...apparently anything can be breadcake. It is like a huge umbrella word that can mean just about anything. For example, bread, brownies, cupcakes, cake, doughnuts, muffins, pancakes, fudge (yeah, the fudge threw me too). Grammy Jean had a lady in her ward drop off cupcakes and Allie of course had to have some breadcake. What a goofball!
