Do you recognize the quote? Ok, actually it says, “No! It’s the world’s BEST cup of coffee!” You know, from Elf! Allie loves quoting it. A couple of weeks before Christmas she got one of her belts and put it around her eyes while drinking her hot chocolate. And then we role played. And yes, I know, the lines may not be exact…but you get the picture.
Me: “Just put your hands out and take a sip!”
Allie: Drinks the hot chocolate.
Me: “Well?!”
Allie: “It tastes like a yucky (in place of the word crappy) cup of hot chocolate (in place of the word coffee).” Then slowly takes the belt from around her eyes. “It is a yucky cup of hot chocolate.”
Me: “No! It’s the world’s BEST cup of hot chocolate!”
What a crack up she is!
